Linda Ang

With her fluent spoken Hokkien, Sau Kam joined Rediffusion's Hokkien Drama Team in 1994 and became the station's DJ the following year. During her DJ years, she hosted a number of radio programs for Rediffusion, 988 Radio Station as well as Wow FM.

Linda loves to tell stories, in 1999 she started traveling all over Malaysia to promote her audio book 'Sister Hong is Coming' and the awareness to save the environment. She was invited by 8TV in 2005 as the adjudicator for 'The Top Kid' competition and, in the same year, hosted 8 story telling sessions in conjunction with World Earth Day. With such a busy schedule, Linda still managed to produce children's play such as 'Christmas Presents', 'Sister Hong has Gone', 'Adults has Gone' and her 2008 production 'I am Number One', which was shown in the Lambangsari National Theatre with rave reviews.

Linda has just set up a 'Sister Hong's Playground', focusing on the development of children's oratorical skills and interests in performing arts as well as the production of children's play and orgainising performing arts camps.
