Chan Tai Man
Usually when you fill out any official Hong Kong documents , there will be a sample form filled out for your reference in which you will find the name 'Chan Tai Man'. Of course, the details on these sample forms are purely fictitious and any similarity is just coincidence. Not coincidentally, this is actually how Hong Konger, Gilbert Chu, got his stage name.
Gilbert was first invited by Chan Fong as a guest speaker in 988 Radio Station's 'Oriental Rice Bowl' back in 2005. Since he was then the Asia-Pacific Regional Director of a famous fashion label, Gilbert decided to use the alias Chan Tai Man to share with Malaysian listeners his 20-plus years experience in marketing and managing over 400 retail outlets across Asia. Gilbert was also a frequent speaker in the morning show's '3 Minutes Realisation' speaking on strategic thinking, new marketing and management concepts.
On 18th January 2007, Chan Tai Man and Chan Fong hosted a branding and marketing positioning talk in Kuala Lumpur. Following rave reviews, they brought the show to Ipoh and Penang in December the same year. Humourous and to the point, Chan Tai Man encourages Malaysians to excel and self-improve continuously.
If you have missed any of Chan Tai Man's previous talks, do not worry! Now, you can listen to him over and over again via chanfong.com on his classic topics and new ideas.
